Standard Sets

Standard Sets are used to segregate job and assignment standards. LMS allows you to create multiple sets of standards. For example, if you typically over-forecast in order to over-schedule because you know that you consistently have three people call in sick and you need to make sure you are covered, you could create two sets of standards. One would be used for generating the forecast and one for generating labor standards. This would allow you to accurately calculate the labor standards without including an inflated labor forecast.

Separate Standard Sets can be created for each job. The criteria for the Standard Set are determined at each level. When you select a Standard Set that you want to associate with a Job, any changes you make on any of the tabs will be saved with that Job and Standard Set. For example, you can use a Standard Set called Test for a Main Room Attendant job, as well as for the Tower Room Attendant job, but they may have different criteria depending on the setting you chose for each the tabs in each of those jobs. You simply create a Name for the Standard Set then actually configure the criteria for each job.

Notes:

  • If a property is using a master standard set that is configured to use Projected Hours Standard Set and Standard Hours Standard Set, you cannot change the settings in the Standard Sets screen.
  • If you have a standard set that is configured to be used in a scheduled task to generate projected hours or standard hours, the system will not prevent you from changing the standard set configuration to No. However, if you change the configuration to No, the task will no longer run successfully.
