Day Off Rotation Plans

About Day Off Rotation Plans

Day off rotation plans allow you to automate the scheduling of employees’ days off. For example, if employees with the same job are allowed to have every third weekend off, you can configure

RMS

to automatically manage this scheduling process. Assign day off rotation plans to employees in the Employee Maintenance Scheduling tab.

Day off rotation plans are a set of patterns through which employees are rotated. For example, if you have 20 employees, you won't want any more than five employees assigned to a given pattern. The first five employees will be assigned to pattern 1, the next five will be assigned to pattern 2, etc.You will create as many day off patterns as you need, to assure that you are appropriately staffed at any given time without over- or under-utilizing your employees.
