About Units
The Units task lets you specify the units of measure, such as covers or dollars, used in the forecasting process. Units are used as a labeling mechanism for identifying the unit of measure that a KBI represents. Units are used on various reports and throughout the system wherever KBI values are displayed.
Terms and Definitions
Plural Name | Assigns a name that is used in reports, etc. when a plural version of the name is appropriate. |
Singular Name | Assigns a name that is used in reports, etc., when a singular version of the name is appropriate. |
Symbol           | Assigns an abbreviation for the unit. This abbreviation will be used in various reports. Comments allow you to make any notes pertinent to this unit. |
