About Profit Snapshot Types

This menu item will only be visible if you own the EPEP module.

Profit Snapshot Types are used in conjunction with the View Profit and Create Snapshots screens to capture and view data for a specific day(s). It can be helpful to capture data for a specific day for use as a comparison. For example, on the 20th of the month you would like to see what you forecasted on the 5th of the month, you can create a Profit History Type called 20th, create Snapshots and view the snapshots by selecting that history type from the drop down menu. This function will allow you to spot trends, recurring problem areas, etc.

There are three steps involved with using Profit Snapshot Types:

1. Configure Profit Snapshot Types.
2. Create Snapshots in the View Profit screen using Profit History Types.
3. View Snapshots by selecting a Profit Snapshot Type in the View Profit screen.
