About Calendar Plans

A Calendar Plan is a feature that lets you define when a specific revenue center period is open for business. More specifically, a calendar plan can be attached to individual periods within a revenue center. This feature makes your forecasting and labor planning more accurate by allowing you to define the annual schedule and business cycles for every shift within all of your revenue centers.

The definitions and instructions are for all possible fields. Depending on which programs you own and what your security settings are, you may not see all of the fields listed in each section.

Terms and Definitions

Name

Assigns a name to the calendar plan.

Start Date/End Date

Allows you to designate the date range during which the calendar plan is in effect.

Days Open

Allows you to designate which days of the week  you want the revenue center or property to be open. By default all days are selected.
