Locking and unlocking a standard set
Locking a standard set allows you to protect a standard set with a password so that only selected users can copy, delete, or edit the standard set.
- If a standard set is unlocked, only the lock button ( Â ) is active.
- If a standard set is locked, only the unlock button ( Â ) is active.
To lock or unlock a standard set, do the following:Â
- In the toolbar, click the System Setup icon (  ).
- From the drop-down list, select Labor > Standard Sets.
The Standard Sets screen appears. In the Standard Sets pane, click the standard set that you want to lock or unlock.
- Do one of the following:
- To lock the standard set:Â
- In the lower left corner of the screen, click the Lock button ( Â ).
The Lock Standard Set dialog box appears. - In the Password field, type your password.Â
- In the Confirm Password field, type your password again.
- Click OK.
The Lock Standard Set dialog box closes, and the standard set is locked. Â
- In the lower left corner of the screen, click the Lock button ( Â ).
- To unlock the standard set:Â
- In the lower left corner of the screen, click the Unlock button (  ).
The Unlock Standard Set dialog box appears. - In the field, type your password.
- Click OK.
The Unlock Standard Set dialog box closes, and the standard set is unlocked. Â
