Use the Schedule Restriction work rules to apply hours restrictions to employees
The Schedule Restriction work rule type includes the following work rules:
No RestrictionÂ
| Description | No restrictions on the employee's schedule. |
| Tips | Apply this rule to indicate that there are no restrictions on the employee's schedule. |

Monthly Required Days OffÂ
| Description | Â Â Set the minimum required days off for an employee in a monthly pay period. |
| Parameters | Parameter | Description |
| Days Off In Month Map | Maps days of the month to required days off in the month. The day of the month is based on the first day of the planning period. January is always 1, February is always 2, etc. For example, you can map it so that the 15th day of the January planning period is a required day off by entering 1:15. |
| Strict Mode | Select the check box to disallow scheduling. Clear the check box to show a warning. |
Max Hours On DayÂ
| Description | Set the maximum number of hours that can be scheduled in a day for specific days of the week |

| Days of Week | Days of the week to configure max hours. |
| Max Hours | Maximum number of hours allowed for the day. |
| Strict Mode | Select the check box to disallow scheduling. Clear the check box to show a warning. |

| Description | Check whether a shift can be scheduled based on the configured days of week, earliest start times, and latest end times |

| Days of Week | Days of week to include in the rule. |
| Earliest Start Time | The earliest time that a shift can start on a selected day of week |
| Latest End Time | The latest time that a shift can end on a selected day of week |
