Back From Break With Grace

Description

Configure grace periods on Back from break punches so that Back punches are rounded to the break threshold length if they fall within the grace period.

TipsThis rule is helpful in locations where there are long lines at the Time Clocks. If the work rule is applied, employees only get charged for the break time taken and not the time they spent waiting in line at the Time Clock.
ParametersParameterDescription
Break Length

Break length (in minutes) to round to if the break time falls within the grace period parameter.

Grace Period

If break length falls within +/- grace period (in minutes), the back punch will be rounded to make the break length equal to the configured break length parameter.
