Holiday Eligibility
Holiday Eligibility work rules determine whether an employee is eligible for holiday pay.
The Holiday Eligibility work rule type includes the following work rules:

Holiday Fixed Hours

Average Hours with Worked Before and After Check
Description | Award holiday pay based on a percentage of the average wages over a configured period. This rule also checks whether the employee worked the shift before and/or after the holiday to calculate eligibility. | |

Minimum Monthly Hours
Description | The employee must work over the minimum monthly hours for a configured number of months to be eligible for holiday pay. Eligible hours are determined by hours / shifts for the configured number of months. | |

Minimum Days Worked
Description | Configure a minimum number of days an employee must work within a specified period to be eligible for holiday pay. Pay may be based on the average day of a different period or as a fixed amount. The rule also checks that the employee worked scheduled shifts before and after the holiday. | |
