Editing a badge number for an employee

Caution: If your company's employee badges are updated by interfaces, you should edit badge numbers in your company's system of record. Any changes you make using the Manage Badges screen will be overwritten the next time an interface file is imported.

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Admin section, select Employee Maintenance.
    The Employee Maintenance screen appears in a separate tab.

  3. Click Employee Actions (  ).
  4. From the drop-down list, select Manage Employee Badges.
    The Employee Badge Management screen appears. 
  5. In the table, find the employee whose badge you want to edit by either scrolling through the list or using the search field to search by  Employee Name, Employee ID, or Badge Number. When you have found the employee, do one of the following:
    • Double-click the row of the employee.
      The Edit Badge Number dialog box appears.
      Or 
    1. Click the row of the employee.
    2. In the lower left corner of the screen, click Edit (  ).
      The Edit Badge Number dialog box appears.
  6. In the Badge Number field, delete the old badge number and type the new badge number. 
  7. Click OK.
    The Edit Badge Number dialog box closes, and your changes are applied.Â
