There are two ways to enter percentage data: manually or by using the Generate Percentages button which enters historical data. You will enter data in two tabs: Primary KBIs and/or Secondary KBIs.
Fields in the KBI Distribution screen
Field | Description | Notes |
Primary | Select the primary KBI you want to enter percentages. Primary KBIs have no external dependencies and are used to drive other KBIs. - Primary KBI—Select the Primary KBI you want to distribute.
- Period Percentages—Enter the percentages by period. You can enter percentages by either period or day of week, but not both.
- Day of Week Percentages—Enter percentages by day of the week. You can enter percentages by either period or day of week, but not both.
| Only those KBIs that were configured as Primary KBIs during KBI configuration will appear in the list. |
Secondary KBIs | Select a secondary KBI you want to enter percentages. Secondary KBIs are Percent of Base KBIs or Statistical KBIs that are not designated as Primary. - Secondary KBI—Select the KBI you want to enter percentages.
- Base KBI—Designates the KBI on which calculations are based. For example, if XXX is the Base KBI, and you enter 38 in the Sunday field of Period 1, the value for the KBI you are creating will be 38% of the XXX. If the KBI you are working with is a Percent of Base KBI, this field is read-only and contains the base KBI that you designated when configuring the Percent of Base KBI. If you have a non-primary statistical KBI, you will select a Base KBI from the drop-down list.
- Day of Week Percentages—Enter percentages by day of the week. You can enter percentages by either period or day of week, but not both.
