About Schedule Groups

Frequently, you will have a large number of employees in a job which makes it somewhat unmanageable when trying to edit schedules or print reports. The Schedule Group function allows you to filter employees by groups. For example, if you have three shifts, AM, Afternoon, and Evening you could filter your employees by shift, thus making the list more manageable. Note: You have the option of assigning an employee to a Schedule Group, when configuring employees.

Schedule Groups are also used as a report grouping mechanism. For example, you may want to see a report that displays all the Housekeepers that work on floors 1-10.
