Configuring States allows you to denote information specific to a particular State such as the State abbreviation, whether it has State Taxes, the Country and Tax Jurisdiction it falls into, the State's minimum wage and maximum tip credit allowable. You will need to configure each State in which you do business.

Indicates that the state charges State Taxes, if selected. |
Tax Jurisdiction |
Denotes which jurisdiction's tax rules apply. |
Min. Wage |
Denotes the allowable minimum wage in that state. |
Max. Tip Credit |
Indicates the maximum amount of tips that can be accrued. |
