Configuration Validation Report

The Configuration Validation Report lists all the configuration problems for all the System Setup items. Such issues as budget lines that aren't configured correctly, invalid ranges set, missing formulas, etc., are found in this report. If there are any problems listed on the Configuration Validation Report, you are at risk for generating reports that do not reflect valid information. This report is very useful as a troubleshooting mechanism. For example, if you find that you are getting unexpected results on certain reports, calculations ,etc. you can run this report and determine whether the problem is because something is configured improperly.

Running the Report

1. In the toolbar, click the Report icon (  ).
2. From the drop-down list, select System Setup > All Setup > Configuration Validation.
   The Configuration Validation report screen appears. 
3. Click the Run icon (  ).
   The report appears.
