Secondary Line Types

Note: Prior balance cells represent the previous day's end balance. The End Balance is the balance at the end of today.

Accounts Receivable

This line denotes how much gross revenue is in accounts receivable, and is used when you have charges, payments and adjustments to enter.

Line Type Cell Structure:

Accounts Receivable Ending Balance Only

This line is used to enter the ending balance for an accounts receivable line, for that day. Use this line when you only have an end balance to enter.

Accounts Receivable No Adjustment

This line denotes how much revenue, without any adjustments, is in accounts receivable line, and is used when you only have charges and payments to enter.

• A/R Ending Balance Only

Adjustments

This line is used to display any adjustments that were made to the revenue. For example, you credit a portion of the room rate due to a housekeeping problem.

Cash

This line is used to determine how much cash was collected.

Line Type Cell Structure:

Cash Out

This line is used to determine how much cash was dispersed. For example, a guest loses money in the candy machine and you give them a cash refund.

Credit Cards

This line denotes how much revenue was taken in via credit cards for those credit card companies that do not pay on the same day, which means that Payments may not equal Charges.

Credit Cards 1

This line denotes how much revenue was taken in via credit cards for those credit card companies that pay on the same day, resulting in Payments equaling Charges. Prior Balance and Ending Balance will always be 0.

Custom Write-Offs (Funds)

This line is used for general write-offs, other than F&B.

Decimal Statistic

This line is used to track data that the user wishes to track. These lines have decimals.

F&B Write-Offs (Miscellaneous Lines)

This line is used to track F&B write-offs.

Line Type Cell Structure:

Allowable children:

• None. However, these lines do have details which are entered in the Reconcile screen (See About F&B Write-Off Lines in the Using Revenue manual.

Funds Miscellaneous (Miscellaneous Lines)

This line is used to track miscellaneous dollars received.

Line Type Cell Structure:

Integer Statistic

This line is used to track data that the user wishes to track. These lines do not have decimals.

Log Number Rooms (Miscellaneous Lines)

This line is used to track the number of rooms that are used but not paid for, such as Comp Rooms.

Log Room Number (Miscellaneous Lines)

This line is used to identify which rooms were used but not paid for.

Market Mix

This line is used to track market mix data. This data does not count toward receipts.

This line is used to track Market Mix data. This data counts toward receipts.

Revenue Miscellaneous (Miscellaneous Lines)

This line is used to track revenue from miscellaneous sources.

Revenue Taxable

This line is used to display how much tax is owned on all revenue brought in.

This line is used to determine how much tax is owed on money brought in.

This line is used to calculate unoccupied rooms in the property. Note: There must be a line somewhere in the structure that is configured with the code TTL_

RMS

(Total Rooms Occupied) in order for this line to calculate correctly.
