Change Planning Period
The Change Planning Period task is a process that closes the current planning period and rolls the date forward so you can begin planning the coming week. Planning Period dates are determined by the Planning Period Type you selected. After you have input actuals for the seven days of the current forecasting period, transferred Time Clock Hours for each day, and generated standard hours for each day, you are ready to close the previous Planning Period and open a new period.
You can see which period is currently open by looking at the Status column in the main Planning screen.
