- Review and adjust the schedule to accommodate last-minute changes to business volumes.
- Change, add, or delete scheduled hours.
- Designate scheduled hours for a specific purpose.
- Schedule overtime.
- Print a final schedule.
Scheduling provides the following benefits:
- Saves time by producing accurate, detailed schedules which take into consideration an employee's availability, preferred and required time off, and other jobs in which the employee is trained to work.
- Saves money in labor costs since labor is scheduled on an as-needed basis according to the LMS planner requirements, which are based on forecast volumes.
- Service improves when each department staffs according to daily forecasts.
- Changes to the work content of a specific job are translated into a change in work requirements and scheduled hours.
- Cross-trained and cross-utilized employees get more hours, and the property benefits from highly-trained, knowledgeable employees.
