Scheduling

Use the Scheduling screen to view and manage the schedules for employees in your organization. With the Scheduling screen, you can do the following:

  • Automatically create a schedule according to an accurate weekly forecast which saves company resources by controlling labor costs.
  • Manually create a schedule or edit an existing one.
  • Review and adjust the schedule to accommodate last-minute changes to business volumes.
  • Change, add, or delete scheduled hours.
  • Designate scheduled hours for a specific purpose.
  • Schedule overtime.
  • Print a final schedule.

Scheduling provides the following benefits:

  • Saves time by producing accurate, detailed schedules which take into consideration an employee's availability, preferred and required time off, and other jobs in which the employee is trained to work.
  • Saves money in labor costs since labor is scheduled on an as-needed basis according to the LMS planner requirements, which are based on forecast volumes.
  • Service improves when each department staffs according to daily forecasts.
  • Changes to the work content of a specific job are translated into a change in work requirements and scheduled hours.
  • Cross-trained and cross-utilized employees get more hours, and the property benefits from highly-trained, knowledgeable employees.
