Deleting scheduled and unscheduled shifts in Timeline Scheduling
Using the Timeline Scheduling screen, you can delete unscheduled and scheduled shifts. Deleting unscheduled shifts completely removes the shift bar from the schedule pane. Deleting scheduled shifts means that you remove an employee from the scheduled shift, but the unscheduled shift remains.

Click an unscheduled shift bar you want to delete.
An action menu appears.Click Delete Shift ( Â ).Â
The shift bar is removed from the schedule pane.Â

- Click the unscheduled shift bar you want to delete.
- Press Delete.
The shift bar is removed from the schedule pane.
Removing an employee from a scheduled shift
In either the Jobs or Employees views, you can delete an employee from a scheduled shift by using either the action menu or the Delete key.
Removing an employee from a scheduled shift using the action menu
- In the schedule pane, click the scheduled shift bar from which you want to remove an employee.
An action menu appears. - Click Delete Employees from Schedule ( Â ).Â
One of the following occurs:- If you deleted an employee from the schedule in the Job view, the employee's name is removed from the shift and the shift color changes from blue to gray.
Or - If you deleted an employee from the schedule in the Employee view, the entire shift bar is removed from the schedule pane.
- If you deleted an employee from the schedule in the Job view, the employee's name is removed from the shift and the shift color changes from blue to gray.

- In the schedule pane, click the scheduled shift bar from which you want to remove an employee.
An action menu appears. - Press Delete.Â
