Shift Requests

Employees can give shifts away, drop, and swap shifts. They submit shift requests through the UniFocus Mobile App. Managers then respond to those requests using the Shift Requests screen. This eliminates manual data re-entry. Once a request is responded to, the schedule for the employee is immediately updated.

Shift requests include:

  • Give Away—Managers can give a shift to a different employee.
  • First Come First Serve—Managers can give a shift to the first person who applies for the shift.
  • Absence—Managers can mark an employee absent if they can not attend a shift.
  • Drop—Managers can cancel a shift for an employee.
