Responding to an Availability Request/Log

  1. Access the Time Off Request screen by doing one of the following
    1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( ).
    2. From the drop-down list under the Time and Attendance section, select Employee Requests.
      The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
      Or
    1. On the home screen, click Daily Operations.
    2. Click the Employee Request icon ( ).
      The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
  2. From the Request Type drop down list, click Availability Requests/Logs.
    The Availability Requests/Logs screen appears.
  3. If applicable, use the search bar to look up an employee by their name or ID number.
  4. To respond to an availability request/log, do one of the following:
    1. Click an employee name.
    2. Click Edit Request.
      The Edit Availability Request dialog box appears.
      Or
    • Double-click an employee name.
      The Edit Availability Request dialog box appears.
  5. In the Request Status section, complete the fields as necessary.
  6. Click OK.
    The dialog box closes and the employees’ availability automatically updates in Employee Maintenance.

NameName of employee.
Entered onDate of which the request was submitted.
CommentsComments made by the employee.
Request Status Section
Status

Select the request status to display:

    • Pending—An ongoing request. The employee is not scheduled for a shift until the request is approved.
    • Acknowledged—Automatically updates the employee's schedule availability in Employee Maintenance.
    • Rejected—The employee is not scheduled for the shift.
Send Email notification to employeeSends an email to the employee about the request.
Send Mobile MessageSends a message about the request to the employee's phone.
Changed byDate by which a request must be acknowledged.
Changed onDate on which a request was changed.
Email SentAppears if an employee receives an email about the request.
Buttons
OKChanges are made to the request and updates to the employee's schedule.
CancelCancels the availability request.
