Responding to an Availability Request/Log
- Access the Time Off Request screen by doing one of the following
- In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( ).
- From the drop-down list under the Time and Attendance section, select Employee Requests.
The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
Or
- On the home screen, click Daily Operations.
- Click the Employee Request icon ( ).
The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
- From the Request Type drop down list, click Availability Requests/Logs.
The Availability Requests/Logs screen appears. - If applicable, use the search bar to look up an employee by their name or ID number.
- To respond to an availability request/log, do one of the following:
- Click an employee name.
- Click Edit Request.
The Edit Availability Request dialog box appears.
Or
- Double-click an employee name.
The Edit Availability Request dialog box appears.
- In the Request Status section, complete the fields as necessary.
- Click OK.
The dialog box closes and the employees’ availability automatically updates in Employee Maintenance.

Comments | Comments made by the employee. |
Request Status Section | |
Status | Select the request status to display:

Send Email notification to employee | Sends an email to the employee about the request. |
Send Mobile Message | Sends a message about the request to the employee's phone. |
Changed by | Date by which a request must be acknowledged. |
Changed on | Date on which a request was changed. |
Email Sent | Appears if an employee receives an email about the request. |
Buttons | |
OK | Changes are made to the request and updates to the employee's schedule. |
Cancel | Cancels the availability request. |
