Working with the Reporter screen

You perform the following tasks on the Reporter screen:

Remember: If multiple reports are open in different tabs, select the Unifocus Reports tab in the report selection row to access the main Reporter screen.

How you access Reporter depends on whether you are using a mobile device or 

RMS

software.

Mobile users

If you are accessing Reporter from a mobile device, do the following:

  • Go to the URL provided by your UniFocus Project Manager.

RMS

 users

If you are accessing Reporter in the UniFocus 

RMS

software, do the following:

  1. In the toolbar, click the Reports menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, select Reporter.
    The Reporter screen appears. 


Opening a report

  • In the report list, double-click the name and description of the report you want to open.
    The report opens in a new tab. 

Marking a report as a favorite

To mark a report as a favorite:

  • In the Other Reports section, select Save (  )  for the report you want to mark as a favorite.
    The button label changes (  ), and the report moves to the Favorites section at the top of the list. The report is sorted by name in alphabetical order with your other favorites.

To remove the favorite status of a report:

  • In the Favorites section, select Unsave ( ) for the report you no longer want to be a favorite.
    The button label changes (  ), and the report moves to the Other Reports section. The report is sorted by name in alphabetical order in the list. 

Viewing the layout and structure of the report

  1. In the report list, click the thumbnail of the report for which you want to view the layout and structure.
    The full-size image opens. 
  2. Click the Close icon ( ) to close the full-size image.
    You return to the Reporter screen. 

Searching for a report

  • In the Search field, type either the report name or a keyword for the report you want to find.
    The report list updates as you type and filters the reports.
    If there are no results, a No Matching Results dialog box appears and asks you to change your search criteria.

Searching for reports by tags

The Filter By Tags field allows you to search for a report by a tag, that is, a keyword associated with a group of related reports.

Remember: If you are searching by multiple tags, only reports with all the selected tags appear.

  1. In the Filter By Tags field, do one of the following:
    • Click the field and select a tag from the drop-down list.
      The tag appears in the field, and the report list updates based on your selection.
      Or
    1. Type the name of the tag in the field.
      Matches appear in a drop-down list as you type.
    2. Click to select the tag.
      The tag appears in the field, and the report list updates based on your selection.
  2.  Optionally, to add another tag, repeat step 1.

To remove tag:

  • In the Filter By Tags field, click the X in the corner of the tag.
    The tag is removed from the Report Tags field.Â
