Release Notes 9.02

Budgeting

  • Adding OT in Forecast Budget Rates only allowed in wizard. (10206) The OT Rates cells are no longer editable in any of the tabs (Annual, Quarter, Period, Daily). Rates can only be added through the Adjustment Wizard.

Scheduler and T&A

  • Proper handling of scheduling/punching for employees with expired certifications are in place.(10127) Some jobs require statutory certifications that allow employees to work in some job functions. The certifications can expire and must renewed.
    • Configuration screen in System Setup > Employee > Certifications. (10157) Allows you to enter a name for the certification.
    • Labor Structure > Certifications column.(10158) Allows you to associate a Certification with a job.
    • Employee Maintenance > Certifications tab.(10159) New tab allows you to associate an employee with a Certification and enter the Issue Date, Start Date and End Date of the certification.
    • Auto scheduler will not schedule employees without current certification for jobs requiring certification.(10160) If a job is configured for active certification, any employee that is not certified for that job, will not be scheduled for that job.
    • Manually scheduling employees without certification is not allowed. (10161) If a job is configured for active certification, any employee that is not certified for that job, will not be able to be manually scheduled for that job.
    • Time clock will not allow uncertified employees to login to a job requiring certification. (10162) If an employee is not currently certified for a job they are trying to punch in for, a message is displayed and the employee is immediately logged out and returned to the login screen. If a certification expires while an employee is punched in, the manager will have to punch out for the employee.
    • Messages warning of expiring certifications (within 60 days) are displayed on the UFTC every time it is accessed.(10163)
    • Employee Maintenance > Cross-property certifications identified. (10188) When adding certification for an employee, all active certifications for all properties in which the employee has an active job, are identified by appending the property code to the name. In secondary properties, property codes are prepended to the name for certifications not in the current property. Edits and deletes for non-current property certifications are disallowed. You can only add current property certifications.
    • UFTC Cross Property Certifications check. (10189)  Time clocks will only check time clock property jobs for invalid certifications.
    • Auto scheduler Cross Property Certification checks. (10190) This means that jobs that have invalid certifications in other properties will not be auto scheduled.
    • Scheduler Cross Property Certification check.  (10191) This means that you will not be able to manually schedule a secondary job in a property if there are invalid certifications.

Administration

  • New Hours Distribution Work Rule for paying Nevada Overtime. (9830) Employers in Nevada need to pay overtime based on 24-hour time periods to comply with State law. This new work rule allows you to set the appropriate parameters to meet the law requirements.
  • New Employee Set Filtering Option. (9917) A new Filter Type option, Home Job Pay Type, by has been added to System Setup > Employee Sets. This allows you to properly apply Work Rules to employees.
  • Label changes in Labor Standards. (9732) The following changes have been made:
    • Flowed is now Simple Non-Flowed in Planner Settings > Standard Type drop-down menu
    • Shift Related tab is now Shift Related Standards
    • Salaried tab is now Salaried Standards
    • Task tab is now Task Standards
    • Spread tab is now Spread Standards

T&A

  • Change in Holiday Eligibility Work Rule. (10150) In the Average hours with Worked before and After Check, there is now a field for Minimum Hours Paid. Previously, you could only configure Max Paid Hours. This change is necessary when the rule is used for fixed hour Holiday Pay (not worked), so that the schedule can be checked to determine whether the employee worked the day before/after the holiday.
  • Change in Shift Differential > Holiday Rate Factor Earning. (10151) There is now a field for Maximum Hours Paid. This functionality allows you to cap holiday pay at 8 hours when a FT employee works a holiday. 
  • Shift Differentials > Holiday Rate Factor Work Rule has new Max Hours option. (10151) You can now set the maximum hours to be paid as a holiday earning. This allows you to cap Holiday pay at 8 hours when a full-time employee works a holiday.

LMS Dashboard

  • New ability to show/hide divisions, departments and jobs. (7937) A new column in System Setup > Labor Structure > Show on Dashboard allows you to determine which divisions, departments and/or jobs are displayed in the LMS Dashboard.
