About Additional Amounts

There will be times when you have unexpected increases or decreases in revenue or expenses.  

RMS

allows you to make adjustments to your profit data that will take these adjustments into account immediately rather than waiting until it is entered as an Actual.

For example, you have budgeted $200 per month for pool maintenance. In May, you spend $1,000 on repairs. You would add the $1,000 as an additional amount so that you can see the effect on your data immediately.

Terms & Definitions

Select

Allows you to select which amounts you want cleared.

Account Code

Identifies the account code that is associated with each line.

Name

Displays the name of the line.

Est. Amount

Allows you to enter the additional amount.

Select All/De-Select All

Allows you to quickly select or de-select all lines.

Clear Amounts

Removes the additional estimated amounts from the lines that have been selected.


Adding Additional Amounts

To add additional amounts:

  1. Click Add'l Amounts in the toolbar.
  2. Select any amounts that you want  to clear, and click the Clear Amounts button.
  3. Locate the line for which you wwant to enter additional amounts.
  4. Double-click in the Est. Amount cell of the line and enter the amount.
  5. Click OK.
