Holiday Eligibility work rules determine whether an employee is eligible for holiday pay.
Criteria
- No Holiday. No holiday pay is given.
- Average Day Calculation Period. Indicates the period to be used when calculating average hours for Anniversary Year, Last Two Weeks, Prior Two Quarters, Previous Pay Period, and Last X Days.
- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap on the average number of hours worked after which no more hours will be paid.
- Days in Work Week. Denotes the number of working days in a typical work week at your property.
- Include Overtime Hours. Includes overtime hours in the average day calculations.
- Last X Days. Indicates the number of days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Holiday Fixed Hours. Denotes that a fixed number of hours are paid for the holiday, regardless if the employee has worked.
- Average Day Calculation Period. Indicates the period to be used when calculating average hours for Anniversary Year, Last Two Weeks, Prior Two Quarters, Previous Pay Period, and Last X Days.
- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap on the average number of hours worked after which no more hours will be paid.
- Days in Work Week. Denotes the number of working days in a typical work week at your property.
- Earning. Denotes the type of earning to which the dollar amount should be assigned.
- Eligible If Not Worked. Indicates that an employee is eligible for holiday pay even if they did not work on the holiday, if selected.
- Eligible if Worked. Indicates that the employee is eligible for holiday pay only if they worked on the holiday, if selected
- Factor. Denotes the factor to be used in the calculation. Final earning dollars will be calculated as Hours X Home Job Rate X Factor.
- Fixed Holiday Hours. Denotes the fixed number of hours to be paid for the holiday.
- Include Overtime Hours. Denotes that overtime hours should be used when calculating the average day, if selected.
- Last X Days. Indicates the number of days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Maximum Average Hours. Denotes the maximum number of hours, after which holiday earnings will not be paid.
- Minimum Average Hours. Denotes the minimum number of hours, before which holiday earnings will be paid.
- Minimum Rate. Denotes the minimum rate at which the holiday earning is paid.
- Start Calculation From. Denotes when the holiday pay calculation starts for the Last X Days and Last X Weeks: Prior Pay Period, Prior Week or Prior Day.
- Work Following Schedule. Denotes that the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first schedule following the holiday.
- Work Prior to Schedule. Denotes that the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first schedule prior to the holiday.
- Net Holiday Hours Factor. Calculates the Earning paid: holiday hours worked X rate factor X home job rate.

- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap on the average number of hours worked after which no more hours will be paid.

- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap on the average number of hours worked after which no more hours will be paid.
- Days in Work Week. Denotes the number of working days in a typical work week at your property.

- Minimum Rate. Denotes the minimum rate at which the holiday earning is paid.
- Average Hours with Worked Before and After Check. Allows you to award holiday pay based on a percentage of the average wages over a configured period. This rule also checks whether the employee worked the shift before and/or after the holiday which is used to calculate holiday eligibility. Note that if a Holiday falls on the last day of the pay period, the check for the shift worked after the holiday will not apply.

- Factor to Apply to Avg. Pay. Denotes the factor to be used in the calculation. Final earning dollars will be calculated as Hours X Home Job Rate X Factor.
- Include Overtime Hours. Denotes that overtime hours should be used when calculating the average day, if selected.
- Last X. Indicates the number of days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Maximum Hours Paid. Denotes the total number of hours an employee can be paid for the holiday earning.
- Minimum Hours Paid. Denotes the minimum number of hours an employee can be paid for the holiday earning..
- Other Earnings. The available earning types that count toward the average daily hours.
- Start Calculation From. Indicates when the holiday pay calculation starts for the last x days and x weeks.
- Work Following Schedule. Denotes whether the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first scheduled shift following the holiday.
- Work Prior Schedule. Denotes whether the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first scheduled shift prior to the holiday.
- Minimum Monthly Hours. Employee must work over the minimum number of hours each month for the configured number of full months prior to the holiday. Eligible hours are determined by hours / shifts for the configured number of months.
- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap on the average number of hours worked after which no more hours will be paid.
- Earning. Denotes the type of earning to which the dollar amount should be assigned.
- Eligible If Not Worked. Indicates that an employee is eligible for holiday pay even if they did not work on the holiday, if selected.
- Eligible if Worked. Indicates that the employee is eligible for holiday pay only if they worked on the holiday, if selected.
- Factor. Denotes the factor to be used in the calculation. Final earning dollars will be calculated as Hours X Home Job Rate X Factor.
- Include Overtime Hours. Denotes that overtime hours should be used when calculating the average day, if selected.
- Last X Months/Days. Indicates the number of months or days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Maximum Average Hours. Denotes the maximum number of hours, after which holiday earnings will not be paid.
- Maximum Hours Paid. Denotes the total number of hours an employee can be paid for the holiday earning.
- Minimum Average Hours. Denotes the minimum number of hours, before which holiday earnings will be paid.
- Minimum Hours Paid. Denotes the minimum number of hours an employee can be paid for the holiday earning.
- Minimum Monthly Hours. Denotes the minimum number of hours required per month, to be eligible for holiday pay.
- Minimum Rate. Denotes the minimum rate at which the holiday earning is paid.

- Minimum Days Paid. Denotes that pay should be based on the hours worked on the holiday, if they worked at least a minimum number of days during the configured period.

- Secondary Factor Threshold. Denotes the threshold to be used when choosing the primary or secondary factor.
- Start Calculation From. Denotes when the holiday pay calculation starts for the Last X Days and Last X Weeks: Prior Pay Period, Prior Week or Prior Day.
- Minimum Days Worked. Allows you to pay holiday pay if an employee works a minimum number of days in a specified period. Pay can be based on the average day of a different period or as a fixed amount. The rule also checks to verify the employee worked scheduled shifts before and after the holiday.

- Holiday Net Minimum Maximum Hours Worked. Allows you to pay employees based on the number of hours worked over a configured period, as long as the employee worked at least a minimum number of hours during another configured period.
