Late or Absent Report
The Late or Absent Report displays a list of employees who are late or absent for the current day. The report displays the Employee Name, the Job for which they are scheduled, the Date, the Scheduled Start time, Actual Start time, and Time Late. Note that employees who only fit the Late Start criteria are included in the report. For example, if Late Start is 30 minutes and an employee clocks in at 8:29 the column is empty. If an employee clocks in at 8:31, the column will indicate that the employee is 31 minutes late. If an employee does not clock in at all, the column will be empty.
Report Options
- Pre Start Minutes—Determines the time before which if an employee clocks in, they are considered absent. For example, if Pre Start is 60 minutes, and an employee clocks in 61 minutes prior to the scheduled beginning of their shift, they will be considered absent.
- Late Start Minutes—Determines the time after which if an employee clocks in, they are considered late. For example, if Late Start is 30 minutes, and the employee clocks in at 8:37am when their shift actually started at 8:00am, they would be late.
- Absent Minutes—Determines the amount of time after which if an employee does not clock in, they are considered absent. For example, if Absent Minutes is 120 minutes, the employee's shift started at 8:00am and they haven't clocked in by 10:01am, they are considered absent.
- Job Match—Determines whether the report should check all employees in all jobs (scheduled or not), or only for the jobs for which the employee is scheduled. For example, Mike is scheduled for Job A at 10:00am, but accidentally clocks in to Job B at 10:00am. If Job Match is selected, Mike would appear on the report as being late/absent. If Job Match is not selected, the report would check all jobs, see that Mike is clocked in, albeit for the wrong job, and he would not be displayed on the report.
- Filter by Division/Department/Job/Employee—Allows you to filter the report to see specific divisions/departments/jobs/employees.
