Viewing Calculated KBIs
Use this task to see the results of the calculations for each KBI. You can view the calculated KBIs on an annual, quarterly, or period basis, by day sorted by KBI or daily sorted by day.

Tabs | ||
Annual | View data on an annual basis. The data is then distributed throughout the year based on the KBI distribution tables (if configured), or straight-lined (if distribution tables are not configured). This tab also denotes the annual total if the KBI was forecasted on a daily or periodic basis. | |
Quarter | View data on a quarterly basis. Data is then distributed throughout the quarter based on the KBI distribution tables (if configured), or straight-lined (if distribution tables are not configured). | If you chose 13 Periods as your financial year type when the system was configured, this tab will not be available. |
Period | View data by periods. Data is then distributed across the days of the period based on the KBI distribution tables (if configured), or straight-lined (if distribution tables are not configured). | |
Day | View data for the number of units and rates for a selected KBI on any given day, for the selected period. Data is sorted by KBI. You select the period for which you wish to see data. | |
Daily | Views data for the number of units and rates for the selected KBI and period. Data is sorted by date. | |

Close | Closes the dialog box. |
To view calculated KBIs:
- In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
- From the drop-down list, under the Financial section, select Budgeting.
The Budgeting screen appears in a separate tab. - In the KBI Projections row, click Update/Start.
The KBI Projections screen appears. - From the Display drop-down menu, select either Market Segments, Revenue Centers, or Other KBIs.
- If necessary, use the Show, Market Group, and Type drop-down lists to filter the data that is shown.
- From the Related Tasks drop-down menu, select View Calculated KBI's.
- Select the tab that represents the time frame for which you wish to view the data.
