Adjustment Wizard (Budgeting)

Use the Adjustment Wizard to adjust the number of units and/or rates.

Notes:

  • You are able to increase/decrease these numbers by either a percentage or by an absolute dollar amount.
  • This dialog box appears only if you are on the Daily Tab.
  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Financial section, select Budgeting.
    The Budgeting screen appears in a separate tab.
  3. In the 30/60/90 KBI Projections row, click Update/Start.
    The 30/60/90 KBI Projections screen appears.
  4. Click on the Daily tab to make the Adjustment Wizard appear in Related Tasks.
  5. From the Display drop-down menu, select either Market Segments, Revenue Centers, or Other KBIs.
  6. If necessary, use the Show, Market Group, and Type drop-down lists to filter the data that is shown.
  7. From the Related Tasks drop-down list, select Adjustment Wizard.
    The Adjustment Wizard Changes Existing Numbers dialog box appears,
  8. From the Forecast Period drop-down list, select the appropriate period if it is not already selected.
  9. Select a Market Segment.
  10. Select either Adjust by Percent or Adjust by Amount.
  11. Depending on the selection you made in Step 10, click in the Units and/or Rates cell to be edited and enter the new data. Continue entering data as needed.
  12. Click Apply.

    Your changes are applied and the dialog box closes.

    Note: If you select Adjust By Percent, enter your values in whole numbers. For example, if you want to increase the rate by 50 percent, you would enter 50 rather than .50. To decrease the rate by 50 percent you would enter -50.
