The LMS Dashboard displays productivity information and alerts you about potential problems. Main gauges include Variance to Standard Hours, Overtime, and Forecast Accuracy. Optimally, all the dashboard gauges will display 0, but in reality there will always be slight discrepancies. If the data in the panels is significantly more or less than 0, and therefore outside your level of tolerance, you can drill down to the details (all the way through Division, Department, Job and then even to the specific employees who worked that job) to identify any discrepancies or issues and find the specific problems. Identifying the problem area(s) means that you can make adjustments and improve your bottom line.
The Dashboard helps you locate the specific areas of concern by providing:
- Access to Actual, Standard, Scheduled and Projected labor hours and dollars information in a drill down structure from Regional Level all the way through to individual employees.
- Flexible access to Labor Volume, Productivity, and Cost information at a Regional or Property level.
- Ability to parse data in any selected time period.
- Ability to compare daily, weekly, or monthly results.Â
- Comparisons between properties or between individual units within a property.
- Trending information and identifying issues that can be corrected for Labor Savings.

Fields on the LMS Dashboard
Field | Description |
Settings | Create filters that provide you with specific individualized views of the data. - Tag Tree—Choose which properties, regions, and/or user configured criteria (created in Tag Properties) you want to view. The All Properties and Region sections are always present. All other items listed are from the Tag Properties configuration. If you select two Tags in the same category, all properties that have been configured for that Tag(s), are displayed in the Filtered Properties section. For example, assume you have created a Category called Hotel Type, which consists of Tags for Resort, Spa, and Trade Show. If you select Resort AND Spa, all properties that are tagged as a Resort and all properties that are tagged as a Spa, will be displayed.
- Filtered Properties—Lists the properties that fit the criteria you selected in the Tag Tree. You can choose to view data for one property, multiple properties, or all properties.
- Tree Organization Type—Determines how you make selections in the Breadcrumbs.
- Property Tree—Displays Breadcrumbs based on the Labor Structure. Each property has its own divisions, departments and jobs, and data is displayed for the selected item.
- Multi Property Tree—Displays Breadcrumbs according to the master mappings. Master mappings are created to consolidate different designations for the same job, into one designation. For example, one property uses the designation F&B, another uses Food and Beverage, and still another uses Food & Beverage. All are designated as F&B in the master mappings. When selected, data from all the properties will be displayed, no matter what the actual Job name.
- Operating Codes—Displays Breadcrumbs according to Operating Codes, which consolidate jobs from different divisions and departments. For example, if a property has four restaurants, each restaurant has it's own divisions and departments but all have Waiters, selecting the Property Tree would mean that you would only see data for waiters at one restaurant. Selecting Operating Codes means that data would include all waiters from all restaurants.
- Date Range—Select the time frame for which data is viewable. You can select a pre-determined date range from the drop-down, or use the calendars to customize the date range.
- Tag Properties—Configure the filters that appear in the Tag Tree. Configuration can only be done by DBadmins.
- Categories—Create categories for your filters.Â
- Tags—Helps you group information you want to view in each category.
- Properties Tagged as XXX—Choose which property(ies) are associated with the selected Category and Tag.
- Available Properties (xx)—Displays all properties that are available to be Categorized/Tagged.
Process for creating Categories and Tags: - Click Add next to Categories and enter a New Category Name.
- Click Add next to Tags and enter a New Tag Name.
- Click on an Available Property that you want to associate with the selected Category/Tags and drag it into the center column (Properties Tagged as XX). Repeat this step for all properties you want to associate with the Tag.
- Close the window and you are returned to the Settings screen, where the configured Categories and Tags are now listed in the Tag Tree.
