DAYScope is the ability to scan paper comment cards into the system from the property.
DAYScope Commenting Instructions
1. Open your DAYScope software 2. Click on "Type in Comments" 3. Click "Yes" to confirm that you will type comments from images.

1. Select the correct period for which you want to enter comments, then click OK. 2. When the commenting window appears, click the "Start" button.

1. After clicking "Start" the first image should appear. 2. Click in the P/N text box and type "P" if the comment is positive or "N" if it is negative. 3. This will allow comments to be separated in your reports.

1. Next, click inside the Group text box. 2. Press the F4 function key at the top of your keyboard to bring up a list of DAYScope comment categories. 3. Enter the category number that is associated with the comment you are going to enter. 4. This allows your comments to be further separated into their appropriate categories in your reports. 5. Click "OK" to clear the category list. 6. Next, enter the "Room" number, if that information is available.

1. Click in the text box to type in the comment. 2. After typing the comment, click on one of the following buttons: "Save Comment stay on Same Card" (Use to add additional comments from the same card) OR "Save Comment go to Next Card" (Use when finished with this card)

1. After entering comments and before moving to the next card, you can enter guest details (demographic information) by clicking on the "Expanded" tab. 2. Type in the Guest details. 3. Then use a Ctrl-W keyboard combination to save your work.

The DAYScope program will spell check your work.

Click "OK" after all cards in this period have been commented.

You are now ready to "Upload" your comments to UniFocus. Click on "Upload" in the DAYScope toolbar. Then click on: "Send/Re-send Data to UniFocus."

Click "OK" when DAYScope says it is now going to try and connect to the UniFocus site. When the data upload is complete, click "OK" to complete the process.
