Welcome to the Survey Solutions Online Help System

Below are some guidelines for using the online help system. Click the following links if you wish to proceed directly to: 

Viewing Topics

In the navigation panel on the left, use the expand/collapse tools to view the topics. Clicking on the Expand  icon (arrow pointing right) opens the tree and displays all available topics under that header. All topics are arranged in alphabetical order. Clicking the collapse icon (arrow pointing down) closes the tree and displays only the top level topics. This function makes it easier to locate a specific topic. 

Searching for Topics

Enter the term you wish to search for in the Search field in the upper left corner, in the blue bar. All occurrences of this term will be displayed which allows you to cross-reference the term(s). You can click on any of the links provided to go to that page.

Exporting/Printing individual pages

  1. Go to the Tools menu, represented by the 3 dots, in the upper left corner below the blue bar. 
  2.  Select Export to PDF or Export to Word.
  3. Either Open the document or Save it on your computer. The document can be printed.

Exporting/Printing specific sections or all documentation

  1. Go to the Browse menu in the upper left corner in the blue bar
  2. Select Space Operations.
  3. Click PDF Export from the side navigation under Export.
  4. Determine whether you wish to export the entire space (Normal Export) or specific pages (Custom Export). 
    1. If you choose Normal Export:
      1. Click the Export button.
    2. If you choose Custom Export:
      1. Select the section(s) you wish to export or select Check All to print the whole space. Note: Printing the whole space is not recommended as it takes a significant amount of time to generate, and you will get a lot of extraneous material that wouldn't be of interest (like this page, installation instructions, etc.).
      2. Click the Export button.
  5. Click the Download here link.
  6. Choose to Open the file and Choose the appropriate program, or select Save File.
