UniFocus Desktop Launcher (for Mac)
The UniFocus Desktop Launcher enables users who do not have Java-capable browsers to launch UniFocus software. This documentation provides instructions on the following:
Installing the UniFocus Desktop Launcher
Open a web browser and go to the following URL: https://downloads.unifocus.com/desktop-app-206/unifocus206.dmg
A confirmation message appears. It asks if you want to allow downloads.Click Allow.
The file downloads.Go to your Downloads folder and double-click the DMG file.
An installer window opens.Drag the UniFocus application icon (Â ) into the Applications folder shortcut (Â Â ) in the installer window.
The following results occur:- The UniFocus application appears in the Applications folder.
The UniFocus DMG icon appears on your desktop.
- The UniFocus application appears in the Applications folder.
- Press and hold the Control (^) key while you click the UniFocus DMG icon on the desktop.
Select Eject "UniFocus ..." from the drop-down list.
The UniFocus DMG icon disappears from your desktop.In the Applications folder, double-click the UniFocus application.
A confirmation message appears.ÂClick Open.
The Sign in window appears.Enter your Partner Code.
- Click Next.
- Enter your User Name and Password.
- Click Sign in.
Select the module/database to sign in to.
Desktop Launcher processes application dependencies to verify that you have the latest version of theÂRMS
 software. When the process is complete, the UniFocus software opens.
Opening UniFocus software
After you have installed the UniFocus Desktop Launcher, you open UniFocus software from the Applications folder.
- Open a Finder window.
- Select Applications from the sidebar.
- In the Applications folder, double-click the UniFocus application.
UniFocus software checks for updates, and the Sign In screen appears. Enter your User Name and Password.
The software opens.Tip:Â Once the application is open, you can create a shortcut to the UniFocus Desktop Launcher by locating the icon (Â ) in your Dock, pressing and holding the Control (^)Â key while clicking the icon, and selecting Options >Â Keep in Dock. This will pin the icon in your Dock.
