LMS has the capability of importing information from outside systems to populate the desired areas within the program. The date and time of the last import, as well as the person who performed the task, is listed below Import Actual KBIs.

Fields on the Import Actual KBIs screen

FieldDescription

Start Date

Indicates the start date of data that you are importing.

End DateIndicates the end date of data that you are importing.

Script

Displays the location and name of the interface used for the database. The information entered in this field is for LMS technical support use only. 

Data File Path 

Displays the name of the file to be imported.

Buttons

Edit

Locates the desired data file that was created from an outside source.

Import

Initiates the import process.

Running the Import Actual KBIs task

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Labor section, select Actuals.
    The Labor Actuals screen appears in a separate tab.
  3. Click Start/Update next to Import Actual KBIs in the task list.
    The Import Actual KBIs screen appears in the same tab.
  4. Enter a Start Date/End Date manually or through the Date Selector icon (  ).
  5. Determine if the Script and Data File Path are correct.
    • If the Script and Data File Path are empty: Contact UniFocus Tech Support.
    • If the Script and Data File Path are incorrect: Click Edit and locate the appropriate Script and/or Data File Path.
    • If the Script and Data File Path are correct: Click Import.
      A message saying that the data has been successfully imported appears in the bottom field.
