On this screen, you can view and manage employees’ requests for time off, availability, and shifts. The screen opens to the Time Off Requests view by default. Although each view displays different information, all views show the status of each request.
The Employee Requests screen offers three views:
Tasks performed from this screen:
- Filtering employees
- Adding a time off request
- Editing a time off request
- Importing files with multiple requests
- Responding to an availability request
- Responding to a shift request
Caution: Changes or cancellations cannot be made after the pay period is closed. If an employee's accrual balance is negative, a warning message appears. Managers can view a past request, but the data is read-only.
Accessing the Employee Requests screen
Do one of the following:
- In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( ).
- From the drop-down list under the Time & Attendance section, select Employee Requests.
The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
Or
- On the home screen, click Daily Operations.
- Click the Employee Request icon ( ).
The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.
Fields and controls on the Employee Requests screen

1 | Request Type | Select the view for the Employee Requests screen. Options include:
| Default: Time Off Requests. Availability Requests/Logs and Shift Requests appear only if an employee has submitted a request through the Mobile App. |
2 | Request Status | Select the request status to display:
| Default: All. |
3 | On or After | Displays requests from a specific date and any requests after that date. To change the date, either type a date in the field or select a date from the calendar menu. | Default: current date. |
4 | Filters by division, department, or job. | ||
