About Time Off Types

Time Off Types allow you to create reasons for employee Time Off Requests. Time off types include such reasons as sick leave, vacation, PTO, FMLA, etc.


Adding a Time Off Type

  1. In the toolbar, click the System Setup icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, select Employee > Time Off Types.
    The Time Off Types screen appears.
  3. Select Add ().
  4. Enter a name for the Time Off Type.
  5. Optionally,
    • Select an earning time to apply to the Time Off Type.
    • Set a priority number to specify the order in which it appears in Mobile App and Employee Requests screens.
    • Select the check box to specify whether the time off type appears in Mobile App and Employee Requests screen.
  6. Select Add.
    The dialog box closes, and the new Time Off Type appears in the list.
