There might be are times when it would be helpful have to switch one employee's scheduled shift with another employee's shift without having to manually enter . Swapping shifts allows you to make the switch without manually entering the information for both employees. An example of this would be when two  For example, two employees have asked requested to work each others other's scheduled shifts or similar scenario. For example, Employee . Employee 1 is scheduled to work from 08:00-16:00 (8:00 A.M.-4AM–4:00 P.M.PM) and Employee 2 is scheduled to work from 12:00-2000–20:00 (12:00 P.M.-8PM–8:00 P.M.PM). If you swap schedules, Employee 1 will work 12:00-2000–20:00 (12:00 P.M.-8PM–8:00 P.M.PM) and Employee 2 will work 08:00-1600–16:00 (8:00 A.M.-4AM–4:00 P.M.PM).

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Labor section, select Scheduling.
    The Scheduling screen appears in a separate tab.
  3. Select either the Shifts or Employee view.
    The screen updates with your selection.
  4. Click in the cell of one of the employee shifts to swap and drag to the position of the other shift to be swapped.
