The Market Segment Mid-Year Recap shows you, at a glance, how your Market Segment revenues, rooms sold and average rates compare to other periods. It will also show you variances to those other periods.

Key Information

  • The Market Segment Mid-Year Recap provides detailed information about your revenue, average rate and rooms sold for each Market Segment configured. This information will enable you to evaluate periodic sales performance compared to budget, forecast or estimates as maintained in the database.
  • The report shows budget, actual, volume variance and percentage variance for the periods selected.
  • The information will assist you in making key decisions regarding sales department goals and strategies.

Report Options

Base Dataset

Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. The Base Dataset is compared with other datasets.

  • Year. Select a year of dataset.
  • Type. Select a type of dataset.

Comparative Dataset

Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. The Comparative Dataset is compared with the Base Dataset is compared.

  • Year. Select a year of dataset to compare.
  • Type. Select a type of dataset to compare.

Running the Report

To run the report:

  1. Choose Comparative from the Reports menu and select Market Segment Mid-Year Recap.
  2. Select a Year and Type for the Base Dataset.
  3. Select a Year and Type for the Comparative Dataset.
  4. Click the Run icon. The report is displayed.
