Caution: If your company uses interface files for importing data into RMS, most of the information on the Jobs tab of the Employee Maintenance screen is automatically updated with each import. Do not change change information about the home job. Check with your HR or payroll department to determine whether your company uses interface files.

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Administration section, select Employee Maintenance.
    The Employee Maintenance screen appears in a separate tab.

  3. In the employee pane, click the row of the employee you want to edit.

    Note: For information about filtering the employee list, see Filtering employees in Employee Maintenance.

    The General tab updates with information for the selected employee.

  4. Click the Jobs tab.

  5. Under the Job Effective Dates section, click row of the job effective date you want to delete.
  6. Under the Job Effective Dates section, click the Delete Job Effective Date button (  ).
    A message dialog box appears. It asks if you are sure you want to delete the date.
  7. Click Yes.
    The dialog box closes, and the date is removed from the Job Effective Dates section.
