Editing in Table Mode

In the Table Mode, you can edit the General, Allocations, and Cost Structures tabs. There are two different methods of editing the cost structure screens: with ranges and without ranges. KBI, Market Segment, Revenue Center and Percent of Base lines are configured using ranges. Fixed and Job Job Class lines are configured without ranges. Total and Calculated lines do not have a cost structure tab.

Note

Allows you to make Make written comments or notes. A yellow note icon indicates that a note is attached. Notes are especially helpful if more than one person accesses the budget. The first person can mark a line item with specific comments or reminders for the next person.

User-Defined View Area

Displays the columns and information for the selected View.

Editing in Table Mode

All editing takes place in up to three tabs (General, Allocations  and Cost Structures).   All budget lines will, by default, open to the Results tab which allows where you to can view the results of the calculations. The Results screen is view only.

To edit a budget line in table mode:

  1. Choose the Budget tab on the main screen.
  2. Click the link for Configure/View Budget. The Configure/View Budget In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( Image Added ).
  3. From the drop-down list, under the Financial section, select Budgeting.
    The Budgeting screen appears in a separate tab.

  4. In the Manage Budget Lines row, click Update/Start.
    The Manage Budget Lines screen appears.
  5. Double-click the budget line you want to edit. A pop-up window
    The Edit/View Line dialog box appears.
  6. Proceed to the section pertaining to the tab you want to edit.
