Use the I9 tab to indicate whether or not an employee is a citizen of the United States. If the employee is not a citizen, you must enter the applicable information such as the alien registration number and information for the acceptable documents that establish the identity and employment authorization of the employee.

Information in the tab is Read-only. To edit the information, you must click the Edit button.

I9 - Identity and Eligibility for Employment
Verified by	Name of the authorized user who is verifying that the employee I9 information is correct.	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Verified date	Date on which the authorized user (listed in the above field) authorized the employee's I9 information.	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
List A OR List B and List C	This section contains information about required documentation: List A documents show both identity and employment authorization of employee. List B documents show identity only. List C documents show employment authorization only.
Doc Title	Title of the acceptable document.	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Issuing Authority	Name of the authorized organization, country, or territory that is issuing the document.	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Doc. #	Unique identification number of the document	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Exp. Date	Expiration date of the document.	Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Control
Edit	Opens the Edit I9 dialog box, where you can edit the employee's I9 information.
