The Employee Requests screen allows you edit an employee's schedule for time off and check employees' availability. Changes to shifts can also be made here. This ensures that employees are working hours that are possible and that they are getting paid the right amount for time off. If a manager does not change the status prior to the start date, the request will remain in pending status. If there is a conflict then the request will also remain in pending requests.

This screen has a few default settings which include:

  1. Request Type
    • Time Off Requests
  2. Request Status
    • All
  3. On or After
    • The current date

Caution: Changes or cancellations can not be made after the pay period is closed. If the employee's accrual balance is negative, then a warning will be displayed. A manager can look at a past request but the data is read-only.
