The Employee Requests screen allows you edit an employee's schedule for time off and check employees' availability. Changes to shifts can also be made here. This ensures that employees are working hours that are possible and that they are getting paid the right amount for time off. There can be conflicts with the request if a manager does not change the status in time. If there is a conflict then it stays as a pending request.
This screen has a few default settings which include:
- Request drop down menu
- Time Off Requests
- Status drop down menu
- All
- On or After
- The current date
- The current date
Caution: Changes or cancellations can not be made after the pay period is closed. If the employee's accrual balance is negative, then a warning will be displayed. A manager can look at a past request but the data is read-only.

Request Status | Select from pending, approved, denied, or cancelled. You can also view all of the status'. | Default: All. |
