The Employee Requests screen allows you edit an employee's schedule for time off as well as the employees' availability.  Changes to shifts can also be made here. This helps make that employees are working hours that are possible and they get the right amount for their time off. There can be conflicts with the request if a manager does not change the status to anything other than pending. Otherwise, the request stays a pending request.

This screen has a few default settings which include:

  1. Request drop down menu
    • Time Off Requests
  2. Status drop down menu
    • All
  3. On or After
    • The current date

Caution: Changes or cancellations can not be made after the pay period is closed. If the employee's accrual balance is negative, then a warning will be displayed. A manager can look at a past request but the data is read-only.
