The Employee Requests screen allows you edit an employee's schedule for time off as well as the employees' availability and any changes to shifts. This screen has a few default settings which include:
- Request drop down menu
- Time Off Requests
- Status drop down menu
- All
- On or After
- The current date
- The current date
Caution: Changes or cancellations can not be made after the pay period is closed. If the employee's accrual balance is negative, then a warning will be displayed. A manager can look at a past request but the data is read-only.
Fields in the Employee Requests screen
This table describes the fields found on this screen.
Fields | Descriptions | Notes |
Request drop down menu | Choose from the Time Off Requests, Availability, and the Shift requests sections | Availability Requests/Logs and Shift Requests only show up if an employee fills out a request on the Mobile App. |
Status drop down menu | Choose between a pending, approved, denied, or cancelled status. You can also view all of the status'. | |
On or After | Displays requests from a specific date and any requests after that date. | |
Allows you to filter by job. | The On and After field only works properly if the status is chosen as pending. | |
Add Request | Allows you to add a request to an employee. | You can search for an employee by name or ID number in the search bar. |
Edit Request | Allows you to edit a request | You must choose an employee first before selecting Edit Request. |
Import Request | Allows you to import a request from a file such as Excel. | This is a faster option if you have a lot of requests. |
