About Attaching Work Rules

There are certain general principles, or work rules, that your company follows in regards to how employees are scheduled and paid. For example, as a general rule, salaried employees do not receive overtime pay, and employees under the age of 16 can only work a certain number of hours per week. If you have a union at your property, there are specific rules dictated by the union. All Configured Employee Sets must have Work Rules attached that set the criteria for how they are paid. The Work Rules available for attachment are those you created when you configured Work Rules.

To attach Work Rules to the Employee Set, you simply select a Rule Set from the drop-down list beside the appropriate Rule Type.


Useful Information

You cannot delete Employee Sets that have Work Rules attached. You must first change the Rule Sets to "No Rule Set Configured."
