Brands are a filtering mechanism which allows you to track information by brand. For example, if you manage Holiday Inn and Choice hotels, you can track information for the different brands using this function.
Regions are a filtering mechanism which allows you to track information by region. For example, if you manage hotels in multiple regions, you can track information for the different regions using this function.
