Post Punch Work Rule

Post Punch work rules allow you to ask an employee a question on the Time Clock after they punch in and based on the employee's response, add an earning if appropriate.

Criteria

  • No Op Post Punch. Denotes that no question should be asked when an employee punches in.
  • Prompt For Fixed Hours Earning. Asks the employee a question after they punch in, and if the response to the question is "No", a fixed amount earning is created.
    • Default Message. Allows you to enter the question for which you wish the employee to respond. For example, Was your Break offered to you today?
    • Earning Hours. Allows you to determine the number of hours being assigned to the earning. For example, designate the number of hours assigned to the Earning as 1.
    • Earning Type. Allows you to determine the Earning Type being assigned to the earning. For example, Holiday.
    • Min Hours Worked. Denotes the minimum hours that must be worked before the rule is triggered.
    • Resource Message Map. Allows you to select the language on the time clock, in which the question should be asked.

Given the scenario above, an Earning of one hour of Holiday pay would be added to the employee's time card, if the employee answers the Default Message as "No".
