The Generate Projected Hours task lets you generate a forecast for the number of hours required to meet projected business volumes. Based on the configuration of each job, LMS determines how many hours of labor will be needed to meet the projected volumes. In its simplest form it works like this: if it takes a Room Attendant 30 minutes to clean each occupied room, and 100 occupied rooms are projected, then the system forecasts 50 labor hours (pure work requirement) for the Room Attendant job. This explanation does not take into consideration all factors that can affect a job, such as minimum shift, fixed work that must be done at the start or close of each shift, lunch breaks, and KBIs (other than Yesterday's Occupied rooms) which might affect the tasks to be performed.
