About the Time & Attendance Section

The Time & Attendance section allows you to associate divisions/departments/jobs/assignments with time and attendance related codes.

Terms and Definitions

 

ColumnDescription
Pay CodeDenotes the pay code in the payroll system that corresponds to the job.
Workers Comp. ClassAllows you to enter the code used to interface to payroll system.
TK CodeDenotes the code(s) from the time keeping system that corresponds to the job. If there are more than one, the data will be summed into the job
Reconcile CodeAllows you to add the Reconcile Code associated with the employee's job status. This code is used to import employee information from another HR/Payroll system. It is only visible if you do not use Pay Code Overrides.

 

Configuring the Time & Attendance Section

  1. Double-click in the Pay Code and Workers Comp. Class cells and enter the appropriate codes.
  2. Double-click in the TK Code cell and click the Add button.
  3. Enter the appropriate TK Code and select a Shift Category from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Double-click in the Reconcile Code cell and click the Add button.
  6. Enter the appropriate Reconcile Code and Pay Code Override.
  7. Click OK.
