About the Daily Revenue Recap

The Daily Revenue Recap is located on the main Revenue screen, and provides you with access to the screens necessary for viewing and/or entering daily revenue data. The main purpose of this function is to gather the daily revenue and statistics information into a database so that it can be used for analysis.

Several functions Functions that are accessed via the Daily Revenue Recap screen include:

  1. #Opening Opening a new day.
  2. Importing data from the PMS system or manually entering data.
  3. Reconciling/Reviewing a day.
  4. Posting a day.
  5. Re-opening a day, if necessary

View Day

Allows you to enter a date and click the link to view data on a specific date.

ImportImport data directly from an outside system or enter data manually.
ReconcileView data that has been entered for Open days, and, if out of balance, you can edit/make adjustments to get it in balance.You cannot post a day if it is out of balance.
Control SummaryDisplays a summary of Receipts, Funds and other pertinent Statistics. This screen is view only and can be accessed by clicking on the date, or the button on certain screens

DOW

Denotes the day of the week

Status          

Allows you to see what state the data is in for that day.

New. Denotes that no data has previously been entered for that day

Open
. Indicates that the day has activity and screens are populated with current amounts.
  • Posted. Denotes a day whose activity has been balanced. Once a day has been posted you cannot change the data for that day, you must first re-open the day.
  • Net Revenue

    Displays the total net revenue for that day.

    Action

    Denotes the different functions that can be performed on the data for the day.

    Open. Allows you to access the day

    1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( Image Added ).
    2. From the drop-down list, under the Financial section, select Revenue.
      The Revenue screen appears in a separate tab.
    3. Determine the day for which you are entering data.
    4. Click Open in the Action column.
      Import and Reconcile now appear in the Action column.
